OPERATIONS AT AUCKLAND. FAIRLY HEALTHY BIDDING. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. This morning the fresh bidding disclosed a fairly healthy tone, with little change in the market trend. In the Banking section a buyer offered £9 for Australasias, bringing a seller down to £9 3s Gd. Commercials were fairly steady. The lowest seller stopped at 14s 4d. Buyers for Unions moved up to £G 15s. New Zealand’s were still wanted at £2 9s. South British wero still available at £2 10s 9d, and Gas were quoted ex div., with valuations adjusted accordingly. A buyer for "Wilson's Cement rose to £1 16s 3d. Breweries were wanted at £1 11s 9d. Despite advances at Christchurch and Wellington, local buyers of Grand Junctions refuse to raise their limits, and sellers at 3s ild fail to bring any higher bid than 3s 9d. Government slocks were again in request at £99 for cither 51 or 41 per cents., but there were no offers. SALES REPORTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday.
