SEVERE BU'RNS SUSTAINED
CONTACT WITH LIVE WIRE. ACCIDENT NEAR TE AROHA An employee of the Public Works Department, Mr Gordon Douglas, aged 22 years, of To Aroha Street, Ilamiltons, was severely injured when ho came in contact with a live wire while overhauling some electrical gear at the department’s sub-station at Waihou, near Te Aroha. Mr Douglas, who is employed as a fitter, was extensively burned about the body and suffered from shock. After medical treatment lie .was removed in the Te Aroha ambulanoo to the Waikato Hospital in a serious condition. Inquiries at the institution this morning show his condition to be a little easier.
