GOLF.

TIRED BOBBY JONES. LEAVING HIS FILM WORK. BACK TO THE LAW. “ I am now out of the films,” said Bobby Jones, the world's champion golfer, as he left Los Angeles for Atlanta, where he will resume his law work. “ Film work is a great game," he added, 11 and I have enjoyed doing golf pictures, but in future I shall be in front of the screen, even as I am now in the gallery at golf tournaments." Jones has completed 12 " golf episodes," for which, it is stated, Warner Brothers gave him £50,000. Despite his description of film acting as a great game, the Impression is that he is tired of the job. His golf, instead of being a game, became a toil, as the famous exponent spent eight hours a day on the links. On his birthday last March he remarked, “ I like the picture game, but there is a lot of waiting around and this is so tiresome.” Later his wife said, “ When Bobby returns 'to Atlanta he will not have any time for golf except on Saturdays and Sundays.
