An Italian cafo proprietor recently concluded a strange transaction. He acquired a small second-hand motorcar in consideration for 10,0.00 cups of coffee in an exchange deal. If he is to get value from the deal the ven-' dor of the car would seem likely to spend the greater portion of his time in imbibing the proceeds of the transaction. Twenty-seven years hence, under the terms of the contract, he will still be drinking his morning coffee without any question of “spot cash” arising. “I have got an idea there are too many of these adjournments being made by the court,” said Mr T.
