TO PROROGUE ON FRIDAY. REPRESENTATION BILL. FIRST MEASURE NEXT SESSION. (Official Wireless.) (Received July 28, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 27. The 'prolonged session of Parliament, which began last October, will adjourn for the summer , recess on Friday. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr Philip Snowden), who, in the absence of the Prime Minister, is acting leader of the House of Commons, indicated that the Representation of the People Bill, which has been returned to the House of Commons, after having been amended by the House of Lords, was one of the measures that would be considered immediately when the House reassembled after the recess.
