WITHDRAWAL OF CONCESSION. COAL PRICES TO RISE. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, July 27. The reductions in coal haulage and shipping rates, brought about by the former Bavin Government as its share in the rehabilitation of Lite coal industry of Newcastle, are to be discontinued by the Lang Government on August 1. The old rates are to be reverted to on that date. This will necessarily increase the price of coal and the decision Is causing considerable concern among the colliery proprietors, who have been doing their best to win back their lost coal trade.
