OPINION IN ENGLAND. THE COMING TEST. CRITICS COMMEND SELECTION. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright (Received July 28,11.30 a.m.) BOURNEMOUTH, July 27. There Is exceptionally keen Interest centred In the coming Test match. The England side, which has finally been selected, is stronger than the first Test eleven. The Inclusion of Tate undoubtedly strengthens the attack'. The New Zealanders have not yet met the righthand medium howler who has always proved troublesome. It Is generally admitted that Tate Is still in a class by himself. Larwood’s absence, owing to injury, is most unfortunate, as on his howling form earlier in the season no England team is complete ywithout him. The English critics again generally commend the selection. Several express the opinion that a left-handed batsman, would improve the side. Mr 11. D. G. Levison-Gower, in the Morning Post, says: “With Chapman and Leyland out of form Woolley should have played again. One or two changes are possible in the New Zealand Test side. Vivian deserves a place on his recent hatting form. His howling has also proved most useful in county matches."
