The Christchurch Tramway Board decided yesterday that all molormcn in its employ must produce a medical cerlitlcato once a year. The board also reserves Hie right to ask for a rcporl from its own medical adviser at its own expense. Tills decision is a rosull of a recenl decision of the Arbitration Court, which awarded a widow £IOOO damages against I lie board in respect of the death of her husband, a molorman. Evidence was given Mint Hie. mail collapsed at work, but Hint death was a result of disease and was only slightly, if al all, accelerated by his work.
