THE MILK SUPPLY.
(To the Editor). ■Sir,—is all well with 'our milk supply l ? Evidently there Is some cause for uneasiness, as the statcmenst published In The Waikato Times during the past five days show that In the opinion of some who should he 'in a position to know, a change is needed in the interests of public health. 'Possibly we can discount some of ttie allegations somewhat • considerably, but, even so, a residue 1 remains which cannot lie explained 1 away, and it behoves those set in authority and who have control of i such matters to at least make some i investigation. To airily dismiss the | matter as -persillago and of no eon--1 sequence, as was evidently the desire I of Iho Mayor and some of the eoim- ! oillors or the Hamilton Horough Counj oil at Wednesday’s meeting, cannot Jbe tolerated. Doubts and suspicions i have been raised, and in the interests I of the public they must be allayed. - ! 1 am, etc., PURE FOOD. j Whiliora, July 25, 11)5 1. ! _
