After lengthy discussions the joint committee of the three Methodist Churches which was set up to consider the question of admitting women to Hie ministry came to the conclusion that "any woman who believes herself called to the ministry should bo accepted as a candidate. "The committee is unaware of any function of the ordained ministry for which women are disqualified merely on tiie ground of their sex,”
