PETROL AS AN ANTISEPTIC.
Very few motorists know that their petrol is also an antiseptic; By pouring petrol on a wound and allowing it to run off and evaporate, all the grease and fatty bodies to which germs and dirt' have become affixed are washed away. For a wound to have the best chance of healing it must be rendered clean and dry. In the case of motor car accident, where a wmund has been contaminated by soil from the road, petrol is admirable.
