FERRY WHARF TO BE LENGTHENED. —On account of the length of the Union Company’s new ferry steamer Rangatira, the Lyttelton Harbour Board has decided to lengthen the Lyttelton Ferry Wharf by 40 feet. The photograph shows that the Wahine is already longer than the wharf, The Ttangatirawill he considerably longer.
