Public Notice is hereby given that at, a meeting’ of the Waipa County Council to be held in life Council Chambers, Bank Street, Te Awamutu, at 10 a.m. on Monday the is lh day of June 1931 there will be submitted for confirmation a resolution passed by way of Special Order at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the 27Hi day of April 1931 making a by- law 1“ be known as “The Waipa County Bylaw 1931" and to fix the date when such By-law shall come into force. The object or purport of the said By-law is as follows: 1. To define certain words and phrases used in the said By-law. 2. To regulate the speed * of motor vehicles <.n the Great South Main Highway between No. 1 Bridge near Hamilton and Sunshine Avenue and between the Southern boundary of the Borough of Hamilton and Cornfoot’s Road. 3. To repeal Sections 10, 11 and 12 of “The Traffic on Roads By-law 1917" and Sections 3, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of “The Waipa County Bylaw 1924." 4. To provide for the licensing and inspection of vehicles plying for hire and to fix fees for the same. 5. To provide for the inspection registration and licensing of premises to be used: a. As Bakehouses. b. For boneing curing canning salting mincing or other similar process of preparing meat or fat for -sale for human consumption. o. For the sale of butchers meat or poultry. d. For the sale of fish. e. For the retail sale of milk or for the storage of milk for sale. f. For the manufacture or sale of ice-cream or ices. g. For the preparation manufacture or bottling of cordials syrups aerated waters or beverages for sale. A copy of the said Waipa County By-law 1931 is deposited in the Office of the Waipa County Council, Bank Street, Te Awamutu, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours at least thirty days before, the above-mentioned meeting on the 15th, day of June 1931.
