POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCED. AWAITING ELECTION RESULTS. Unltod Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. OTTAWA, June 6. A message from Quebec states that the Prime Minister, Mr R. R. Bennett, announced that the Imperial Economic Conference fixed to be held at Ottawa in August had been postponed and that an official statement would be made in Parliament on Monday. The conference iiad been postponed, Mr Bennett said, because of the pending elections in Australia and New Zealand, which would prevent delegates from those countries coming to Canada this autumn. No date laid been arranged for a renewal of lhe discussions, but it- would probably be the beginning of next year.
