OPERATIONS IN AUCKLAND. (fly Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUGKL AN D, Monday. At the morning call brokers appeared satisfied to reinstate the week-end ' quotations for popular stocks, and few changes were noticeable. Bank of New Zealands steadied after the recent sharp decline, with buyers still prepared to give £2 Bs. In Government stocks a parcel of lax-frees (1939) was available at £9B 10s, and inscribed (1938) at £9B ss. SALES REPORTED. (By Telegraph—Special to Times,) AUCKLAND, Monday.
