TE AROHA CLUB. A SUCCESSFUL MEETING. There was a large attendance of the public on 'the club’s ground at Herriesville, Te Aroha, yesterday afternoon when there was spirited competition in the All Aged and Maiden Stakes. In the former Mr K. Smardon’s King Lu and My Selection ran in the Anal, victory going to the former. The win of Gold Treasure, owned by Mrs M. E. Reid, of Morrinsvllie, was very popular. Following were the results:— ALL AGED STAKE. Winner £9, runner-up £4, third dog £2 2s. First Round. —Charters and Bottomley’s Carringtwohill beat J. Harcourt’s 'Bonny Colours; A. Smardon’s Battling Boy beat A. Poole’s The Don; H. Play’s Aroha Lad beat H. Poole’s Bu Chap; K. Smardon’s King Lu bear F. Firkin’s Billy Boy; K. Smardon’s My Selection, a bye. "First Ties. —King Lu beat Carring twohill; My 'Selection beat Battling Boy; Aroha Lad, a bye. Semi-final. —My Selection beat Aroha Lad, King Lu, a bye. Final. —K. Smaraon s King Lu beat the same owner’s My Selection. MAID BA' STAKE. Winner £ll, runner-up £5, two dogs 30s eachFirst Round.—H. D. Aitken’s Bronze Eagle beat €. A. Rosenfeldt’s King Limes; A.
