FATAL FALL OF COAL
MINER CRUSHED TO DEATH. VERDICT AT THE INQUEST. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) 1N Vl3 R GAR GILL, Thu rs day. At an inquest on Thomas Dixon, who was killed in the Wttlraki Mine by a fall of coal, John Craig, who was working with deceased filling a box, said the coal came down without warning. They were talcing down the top coal and were pillaring. A shot had been tired In a different place, and lie sounded the roof with a sounding iron and it scented hard. The coroner found that deceased met his death by being crushed by a fall of coal.
