FARMERS AWARDED £2528. ICAITAIA, Saturday. A compensation case of great Interest to landowners oooupied Mr Justice Herdman at Kaitala during the past four days. Seven settlers In the Kaitala Swamp drainage area claimed £4715 compensation in connection with damage alleged to have been caused in com structlng the Whangatane spillway. The Court awarded £2529 15s.
