AUCKLAND, Saturday. , A feature of the trading yesterday afternoon was a sale of Colonial Sugars at £52 15s, a drop of £1 os in a week and £2 15s in a fortnight. This mprnlng, after business at £25, ex dlv. Bank of New South Wales were stlll wanted at £24 17s 6d, but there, were no. declared buyers for New Zealands. . , New Zealand Breweries were again In request, with buyers at £1 15s 3d, but holders raised their limits to £1 16s 6d. Farmers’ Trading pref. shares were quoted ex div., with 13s offered for “A’s” and 8s 6d for “B’s." The advance In Waihi Grand Junctions has been checked. Further supplies were available at 3s. In Government stocks there was still no bid for 44 per cents., but for 5J per cents., £99 was available for a parcel of 36’s.
