IN HOSPITAL. Dear Peter Pan, —I have been a long time writing as I was In Cassell three weeks with pneumonia. 1 am quite strong again and went baok to school a week after Easter. I have been a long time writing since I went back to school as 1 had to work hard Tor the exams. I did quite well seeing I missed so much school. 1 went to a fancy dress hall nl the Claudelands Hall and I went as Little Miss Shamrock, and Tui went as a Fairy. Tho best costume was a Maori one worn by a little girl. We went away for -the last week of our holidays to Whangatnarino. On Tuesday we went out mushrooming and on, the way got soaking wet and have now bad colds. We had mushrooms- to eat twice and on Wednesday cousin Frank sold the rest to people passing hy. During the season he sold enougn to buy a wireless set. My cousin Betty has six white rabbits .which I loved very much. We used to let, them out on the rape and on tho tennis court. Wo go back to school to-morrow. We have: a kitten and every day it sleeps on the bed, which mother does not like. They are made of latticework with paper flowers tiled to it. When you stand'on deck and watch the still green water you see flocks of little grey fishes swimming about. . I thought the boat was rather like a big worm-hole with all' the doors and ladders it had. Wo were the worms; i was fishing one day over the side of the boat when the line felt heavy, and when I got it up I found the sinker was caught on an old.pineapple tin! That was the only fish that l caught. Patrick has been trying to talk latelyi; he says “go-boo.”— 1 Belinda Story (0), Ohaupo. We wore very glad to get another newsy letter, Belinda.
