TE AROHA ORPHANS.
OPENING OF THE SEASON. , - AN EXCELLENT PROGRAMME. r ■ The Te Aroha Orphans’ Club opened the season in an enthusiastic manner, Visitors were present from ail parts of the district,, and Included in the large assemblage were a number of new members.
Bro. F. W. Firkin was installed into th,e office of president by Past-Presi-dent Bro. E. A. Bruce, and. on ..taking the poistion as chairman was loudly applauded.
The programme was greatly appreciated. The orchestra contributed selections, Bro. Crawford executed several, feats of legerdemain, and Bro. Mooro's 'cello solos were encored, as were the violin, solos by Bro. L. Flatt, song by Bro. G. Andrew (Cambridge),, monologue by Bro. Palliser, and reoitations by Bro.' Crawford. The visitors were warmly welcomed by_t/he president, who stated that visits would be made during the season by the Hamilton, Cambridge, Morrlnsvllle and other oiubs.
