FLORIST AND NURSERYMAN
SMITH’S SUPERIOR’SEEDS. Clive Smith, florist, nurseryman, seedsman and landscape gardener, of 353, Victoria Street, has made an outstanding display at the Show this year. The: publio are cordially - invited to visit the stand, whioh is situated in the main annexe. In these times of financial depression it is sound advice to purchase in the market where the best value at the lowest cost is obtainable.. By dealing with Clive Smith this happy result is achieved. He has a thorough grounding in his particular line of business, he understands the needs of the public, and makes every endeavour to ensure that. ..those; requirements will be met to the fullest satisfaction. Every department of operations has the principal’s painstaking and expert attention. That is why he has. so many gratified customers, and their numbers are mount- , ing steadily.. On the show stand a... very attractive display is' made by the ; firm, whioh the public are heartily enjoined to make an inspection of. It will be a visit that'will well repay _ the time expended. Plants, shrubs, ; seeds, ferns, and pot plants are taste- , fully arrayed, and the vigorous growth and all-round healthy sign of the exhibit testify adequately to the fact , that" Clive Smith is the man who ( understands his business. Another; special feature of the display U , Smith’s Superior Seedlings. There are two boxes on display, an analysis , of which proves very Informative, , One contains Smith’s plants from outside and the other plants grown under cover, and whioh. have been plaoed . outside with the others during the cold weather recently experienced. The results are pointedly apparent upon Inspection. The plants grown under- oover are now absolutely blaok and useless, whereas the plants whioh have been nurtured-in the open air are in thriving condition. Seeds and novelty seeds and cut flowers, eto., are also on exhibition at the stand. Another important point is that the firm’s principal is able to give practical Information concerning his calling, and the public should make a point ' of calling upon Clive Smith, who extends a hearty welcome to all. - 870
