Gillette (Labour member, Finsbury and secretary for overseas traders), speaking at the Foreign Press luncheon at Olympia. “ There was much talk before the war of Germany competition, but while Germany prospered so did Britain. Many look back on those as the halycyon days. A prosperous China would greatly help world trade.
Mr Gillett stated that the number of home and foreign buyers visiting Olympia thus far was considerably above last year’s total*
