WINTER BRIDES
PRINCESS MARY’S SON AS TRAINBEARER.
One of the many interesting winter brides who are planning ceremonies in London is Miss Joy Verney, who is to be married this month to the Hon. Gustavus Hamilton-Russell, son and heir of Viscount Boyne. The only daughter of Sir Harry and Lady Joan Verney, she is one of the most popular girls in the younger social set, and her long retinue of bridesmaids will include such' wellknown young people as Lady Georgiana Curzon, Earl Howe’s daughter, Lady Margaret Bingham, and the Hon. Elizabeth Legge. Princess Mary’s elder son, Viscount Lascelles, who is seven years old, will be a wedding guest for the first time and will carry the bride’s ivory satin train.
