McKinnon, of River Road, has returned home from a holiday at Kawhia. . * • • Miss Isabel McKinnon and Miss Adri Holloway, of Hamilton, are holidaying in Nelson. • * • * Mesdames H. Gage, Magill, Marston (Auckland), Smith (Masterton), Misses T. Haward and R. Haward (London) are at 'the Hamilton Hotel. Misses Gwen Gallichan and Amy Newby, of Hamilton, are spending their vacation as the guests of Miss P. Palmer, 13a Romuera Road, Auckland. • * * * Mesdames J. B. Henry, Allaway (Auckland), C. Brough (Hawera), and Hutchinson (New Plymouth) are at the Hamilton Hotel. • * * • Mrs G. McLeod, of Hastings, who for some years was a resident of Hamilton has been on a short visit here. Mrs W. H. Hulse and family, of Thackeray Street, are holidaying at Orewa Beach for several weeks. * * * * Mrs P. Pilling,. of Parnell, Auckland, is staying with Mrs F. V. Pill.ng, of Motumaoho. * * * Mrs J. McNlcol and family, of Claudelands, who have',been on a holiday to ’ Milford, return home tomorrow. * * * * Mrs W. A. Oliver, of Matangi, has returned home from a visit to her mother, Mrs Rutherfurd, in Wanganui. # # # * Miss Margaret Clayton Green, of River Road, has returned home from a holiday at Mount Maunganui and Tauranga, where she was the guest of Mrs Sidney Simmons. * * * * Miss Claire Clayton Green, of Hamilton, who has been holidaying at Weymouth, has returned home. *** - * Mrs J. A. Wilson, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs R. D. McFarland*, in Hamilton, for some weeks returns to her home in Auckland, tomorrow. / >jc # * , * Mrs H. V. Bouillon, in Hamilton, have returned to Auckland. if.. # Jr . # Miss G. Stevenson, of Mangere, is the guest of;Mrs F. Beehan, Hillcrest, Hamilton. * * * * Miss Fay Taylor, the speedway enthusiast, hopes to be in New Zealand again early* in the year, via Bombay. She has been going in for outboard motor-boat racing at the Crystal Palace and she has been motor-cycle racing with considerable success in German centres, notably at Oberhausen, where she defeated Hans Wienand, a German champion, in a four-lap race of three heats.' She raced at Munich and Hamburg as well.
