THE WEATHER.
LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather: — Thermometer. Max. Min. Friday . . 74.00 48.00 Saturday . 74.00 45.00 Barometer. Friday 29.95 Saturday .... 30.15 .Barometer rising slowly, and now reads 30.15. Generally fair weather is indicated to-day and to-mor-row, light variable winds and seasonable temperature, with cooler nights. Mean temperature, 59.5 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for westerly, moderate tq,- strong winds, veering by west to north and freshening. There is a prospect of fair weather. The weather will probably become warmer, later with increasing haze and cloudiness. The barometer shows little movement, and after about 16 hours will fall slowly. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER.
