FRANCE AND ITALY.
NAVAL AGREEMENT REACHED. SUBMARINES NOT DECIDED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Jan. 17, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, an. L 6. The Morning Post’s Paris, correspondent says it is understood here that practically a complete FrancoItalian naval agreement has been reached, only the question of submarines not having been settled. France undertakes to limit herself to seven 10,000-ton cruiesrs, compared with twelve demanded at the London Conference. Italy contents herself with six, though retaining the theoretical right to parity. France wants submarines aggregating 75,000 tons to Italy’s 45,000 tons, the latter holding on for 52,700 tons.
