LIQUOR AT DANCES.
PROTEST AT WOMEN’S MEETING. DUNEDIN, Friday. The Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union spent a portion of its time this morning in considering the question of drink at dances. A Ilawera remit read: “That this 'branch, of the division views with concern drinking at dances, and hopes that drastic measures will he taken by all women's organisations to prevent it.” The remit was carriedi unanimously.
