THE RAINFALL.
MORRINSVILLE RETURNS. The rainfall returns for Morrinsville as recorded by Dr. G. E. Seville for October show tiiat the aggregate for the month was 4.82 inches. Rain fell on 14 days, the highest record for one day being 1.12 inches, which occurred on Hie 12th. The October! rainfall for the four previous years ’ was:—l929, 2.86 inches on 10 days; 1928, 7.19 inches on 12 days; 1927, 1.93 inches on 4 days; 1926, 7.82 inches on 12 days.
