VISIT TO YPRES. WREATHS PLACED IN CEMETERIES. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Nov. 3, 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. For the first time since the war a German .pilgrimage visited Ypres. Seven hundred participated. They'visited the German cemetery, and placed wreaths in the English cemetery at Passchendale. The wreaths were inscribed: ‘‘To the dead of the world war from the first German pilgrimage' to Flanders."
