Over £O4OO goes to the credit of the Canterbury Aero Club as a result of the recent art union for aero clubs. A financial statement of the activities of the Canterbury Club from May 1 till October 20 was presented to the meeting of the genera* committee. It showed a credit balance of £13515 10s 7d, in addition to £SOOO »f deposit. The income included bank n,nance bruugiu jurwuru .... instruction fees £474, pupil and pilot members £34, social members £IOB, juvenile members £8 Bs, proceeds of art union £0438, income from dance £l2O, flights, etc., £302. The items of expenditure included wages £507, new aeroplane £BOO, expenditure on dance £l4O, art union expenses £2B.
