The Government frustrated a military coup d’etat to re-estab-lish the dictatorship of General Pangalos. A few hours before the coup i was timed for, troops surrounded a house In the suburbs where 150 officers were making their final arrangements. Most of thorn managed to escape, but 22 were arrested. General Pangalos .was In a house nearby, but whether he will be arrested will be decided shortly. The 22 officers arrested will be oourtmartlalledTor treason.
