SOCIAL EVENING
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS. A social evening was held in the Toorak social hall recently to celebrate the birthday of Miss Alga Richards, of Hamilton, ' The hall had been charmingly decorated with coloured streamers and balloons, and during the dancing showers ‘of confetti added to the gaity of the sene. Items were rendered by Messrs R. C. Frost, G. Moore, J. Reidy and F. Steppings, and during the evening a flashlight photo of the happy crowd was taken. Mr R. C. Frost was M.C. Miss Richards wore a frock of cherry satin and net. Among the guests were Misses Smallman, V. Newton, J. Peagram, Alker, R. Smith, Turner,' Flyger, Davy, Moore, Worth, Goldsthorp, Sykes, White, Dick, Fraser, S. Jones, Kelly, Tombs, Dixon, Messrs Farrel, Frost, Henderson, Stead, Reidy, Drummond, Jenkinson, Beaumont, Green, L. Jones, Spenser, Collier, Porter, Craig, Steppings, Goodhall, Watson, Collins, Taylor, Stubbs, Small’grove, Jamieson, Davidson.
