CRICKET.
OPENING POSTPONED. GROUND CONDITIONS UNSUITABLE. Owing to hte unsatisfactory state of the grounds due to recent rains, the opening of the Waikato Cricket Association’s season, which was to have taken place to-morrow, has been postponed until -the following Saturday. Net practice will, however, take place, weather permitting.
