N.Z. SPORTING REVIEW.
A wonderful free skill racing competition with a superb prize of £2OO commences in this week’s issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review. The illustrated pages are specially merry and bright, the most attractive features being a coloured supplement of Dorothy Mackaill, the fllm favourite, a page of humour, a frontispiece of Kathryn Crawford, and a series of chic French fashions. Very gay are the centre pages depicting recent carnival celebrations and, athletic gatherings in England and Scotland. The arrival of the Dutch squadron is marked in a descriptive series, and another interesting set illustrates events at Ilic Chinese sports at Karori. The principal events at the A..T.C. spring carnival at Randwick supply the racing interest. From overseas comes a big budget of topical news.
