PERSONAL.
Mr C. D. Richardson has been reappointed swimming instructor at the borough baths. At the meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council last evening Ci\ J. E. Tidd was granted two months’ leave of absence on account of indisposition. Mr and Mrs Lionel Leary, of Hobart, Tasmania, are staying at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr Leary has accepted an appointment as assistant manager for Hamilton Theatres, Limited. Mr and Mrs Cave, of Grey Street, Hamilton East, are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary to-day and are the recipients of many congratulatory messages. It is officially notified that Pay-master-Commander W. E. 11. Jolly and Schoolmaster G. N. Pask have been lent to the New Zealand division of the Royal Navy for a period of about three years. The following have been elected Hamilton delegates to the annual conference of the Auckland district council of the Workers’ Education Association at Auckland next Tuesday:— Messrs F. A. de la Mare, J. Prentice, C. F. Sherley, A. H. Ward and C. C. Tidmarsh.
