LAND DEVELOPMENT.
PURCHASE BY GOVERNMENT. ESTATE NEAR TE KUITI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Cabinet has approved the purchase of 3350 acres of the Tunnel 'Company's property near Poro-o-taroa, south of To Kuiti, known as Tupuwae. The bulk is undeveloped. Hon. E. A. Ransom says the land lends itself admirably to the Government’s method of dealing with undeveloped land, in preparation for settlement. An opportunity will be afforded for 100 unemployed .
