THE CALEDONIAN SOCIETY
CONCERT AND DANOE. 'The South Auckland Caledonian Society held the last concert of. the year on Saturday night at the Winter Show Hall. 'The concert was. an exceptionally good one, and credit is specially due to Air R. Blackie, who did his utmost to make it a success, and Aliss Whitlock, the pianist. All the performers are to be complimented on their good performances. The following was the programme: —Selections, Pipe Band; song, Mr G. Wheeler; Highland fling, Aliss J. AtcDavet; song, Mr Watson; sean truibhais, Aliss AlcKenzie; ..musical monologue, Air Peace; Irish jig, Aliss Dolly; song, Airs Heppleston; ballet, Miss Brook’s pupils; elocutionary, Miss J. Cameron-, sword dance,: Aliss B. Taylor; musical quartette, Aliss Whitlock (piano), Alessrs Blackie (drums), J and N. Emerson (concertina) ; toe dance, Aliss Brook;, comic song, Mr Denton.
