THE WEATHER.
LOCAL, OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather: — Barometer. Monday 30.10 Thermometer. Max. Min. Monday 55.00 57.00 Barometer 30.10, with a rising tendency. Indications are for partly fair and partly overcast weather to-day, with higher temperature and variable winds, together with occasional showers. The weather will probably clear to-morrow. 0.02 points of rain fell during the previous 24 hours. Thd Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for westerly winds, moderate to strong and freshening. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with scattered showers; milder temperatures. Barometer falling slowly.
