WEDDING.

BAUCKE—WRIGHT. On Monday morning, June 2, the marriage took place at All Saints Church, Matamata, of Isabel Charlotte, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. M. A. Wright, Te Poi, to Edward Reginald, eldest son; of Mrs E. Baucke, of Taupiri. Rev. C. W. Turner was the officiating minister. The church was decorated with autumn flowers, and Mr F. G. Southon, of Te Poi, played the organ. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, and was dressed in a long-sleeved frock of ivory celanese taffeta, the skirt flared and the bodice beautifully embroidered. The white embroidered tulle veil was arranged with orange blossom, and the shower bouquet consisted of white chrysanthemums and pale pink roses. Mrs MacCartland, of Te Poi, as matron of honour, wore a picture frock of pastel pink spun crepe de chine. Her close-fitting 'hat to match the dress was trimmed with small pink sprays, and she carried a bouquet of pale pink carnations and roses. The little flower girl, Miss Galli Madsen, wore a frock of blue taffeta and carried a basket of flowers. The bridegroom’s brother, Mr R. Baucke, acted as best man. A reception was held, where Mrs Wright, the bride’s mother, received the guests wearing a gown of dove grey milanglon with hat to tone, and her bouquet was of violets. Mrs Baucke’s dress was of black satin beaute with hat and marabout fur to match. The bride’s travelling suit was of tweed in brown shadings, with hat and fur to match. Mr and Mrs E. R. Baucke’s future home will be in Taupiri.
