PROHIBITED IMMIGRANTS.
DEPORTATION ORDERED. CAULIFLOWER WEALTH. INVERCARGILL, Saturday. A Chinese, Lee Wong, who was arrested on a warrant from Auckland, and who was charged with being a prohibited immigrant, was fined £lO and ordered to be deported within 30 days. Counsel for the defendant said Lee AVong was in partnership with another Chinese in a market garden, and had an interest in cauliflowers worth between £3OOO and £4OOO.
