ST. PETER’S PARISH.

ADMINISTRATIVE WORK. NO ACTION BY COMMITTEE. The impasse which occurred at the annual meeting of St. Peter’s parishioners on April 30, when the parishioners failed to elect a chapter would have been dealt with by the standing committee of the diocese which met yesterday. There was, however, no correspondence on the subject and no action was taken by the committee. In the meantime, during Dean G. R. Barnett’s absence on sick leave the two wardens (Messrs W. G. Pountney and J. T. Reid) are carrying on the administrative affairs of the parish.
