38 CHARGES ADMITTED. MAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegrapli.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Thirty-eight charges of false pretences, involving . £277, were preferred against William Thomas, a young man, to-day. They .were committed at Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, and Christchurch. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence.
