OBITUARY.
MRS ELIZABETH GIBSON. THAMES, Monday. The death has occurred of Mrs Elizabeth Gibson, widow of the late Mr J. C. M. Gibson, in her 78th year.
MRS W. A. LIST. NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. Advice has been received of the death at Wellington of Mrs W. A. List. Mrs List is survived by several sons and daughters, including Mrs M. Hickling, Ngaruawahia.
MR JOHN B. SCOTT. Friends keenly regret the passing of John Baxter Scott, .at the Wellington Hospital, as the result of a motor accident. A few years ago Scott was a prominent athlete, and a No. 1 footballer. He was a son of Mrs and the late Thomas B. Scott, of Kawhia, where the deceased was born, and where his mother still resides. The late Mr Scott had large landed interests in the Oparau and Kawhia districts.
MR J. E. FOY.
Mr Thomas Edward Foy, who, in the early days was manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Te Kuiti, died recently at Chatswood, Sydney, aged 70 years.
