A BLOCKED ROAD.
PORRIDGE-LIKE ROAD. (By Teles-ranli. —Press Association ' WELLINGTON, Monday. The Hutt Road was blocked yesterday beyond Ivaiwarra by a fall of por-ridge-like mud from the hills above where a gully was being filled in. A drain was blocked and the water soaked through the loose earth, bringing down nearly 1000 tons before a gang could be put on to clear the road sufficiently to let traffic pass.
