AUTHENTICITY OF BIBLE.

Sir,—l like the easy way in which Mr Matthew Henry, in his letter in your issue of Saturday, vouches for the authenticity of the Bible by the assertion that “the men who wrote Hie Sorlptures were there and Christ testi fles to their correctness, without reser- \ . ration.” As a freeborn atheist I would like to ask Mr Henry- is the e is'any record of Christ testifying the verity of the Scriptures outside the Bible? And, if not, what authority has Mr Henry for stating that .Bible is authentic and that Christ assuming Christ’s authenticity—made .uoh tes !' nlony ' proUD 1 PAGAN.
