TAUHEI HALL.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At the annual meeting of the Tauhei Hall Committee about 15 members were present. Mr H. J. Valintine was in the chair. The chairman reported a fairly successful /year. The secretary, Mr R. Haycock, presented the balance-sheet, which was adopted. % The following officers were elected for the coming year:—President, Mr H. J. Valintine; vice-president, Mr W. .Best; secretary, Mr J. Reyncll; committee, Messrs J. Findlay, P. Clark, J. Noble and C. Ward; trustees for bondholders, Messrs J. Noble, C. Ward and H. J. Valintine.
Mr R. Haycock, who has held the secretaryship for some years, received a vote of thanks for his services. Mr Haycock will leave the Tauhei district shortly.
