LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather:— , Barometer. Monday 30.05 Thermometer. Max. Min. Monday 62 39 Barometer 30.05, with a rising tendency. Indications are for fair to cloudy weather to-day, with lower temperature and variable winds. 0.37 points of rain fell during the previous 48 hours. Mean temperature, 50.5 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9'a.m. this day are for variable and moderate breezes, southerly moderate prevailing. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with moderate temperatures. Barometer little movement. ,
