BORED WOMEN.
«. DANGER TO THE CAUSE OF PEACE. Miss Ellen Wilkinson, a member of the House of Commons, said recently that it was t'he bored type of woman ■who was most dangerous to the cause of peace. While on a recent visit to her constituency (Middlesbrough) she overheard one woman say to another: “I don’t care what you say—when there was a war on there was something to do, and now I am bored stiff.” “That type of woman is in a big majority in certain London suburbs,” said Miss Wilkinson. “It is the idle woman who has nothing to fill her life who probably is not on the side of peace every time, irrespective of her ordinary party aillliation.”
