SOCIAL PURITY.

(To the Editor.) Sir, For long I have wondered why a League of Honour or Social Purity League was not in evidence in Hamilton. and the silence of pulpit, press and platform on this question makes food for thought. I know the subject is considered unsavoury. That perhaps is a strong plea for keeping it to the forefront. Hamilton being I worse or better than other towns Is not the question, which really is: Are the young people—aye /and old people—given to understand the supreme importance that is involved in social purity. Without stressing the matter furiner let us hope that the heads of the various organisations will move in ‘his question.—l am, eto., " 1 MATTHEW HENRY. Ruakura Road, April 15.
